Chinese Luncheon Club

A Happy Chinese New Year to Everybody!

DCLC supported the Doncaster Chinese Elders Group in organising the use of minibus that has been kindly loaned from Age UK Doncaster.

​

For the past year DCLC has been learning and training with volunteer carers and drivers on how to provide the service of the minibus to pick-up and drop-off those who have transport barriers in accessing the lunch club. It has been a successful year working in partnership with Age UK Doncaster to make this happen.

 

We are happy to announce the minibus service will resume on Wednesday 28 Jan 2023, in time to meet and celebrate with others the Chinese New Year 2023, the year of the Rabbit.

The luncheon club runs every Wednesday from 12pm to 3pm at the China Palace Restaurant, Doncaster DN1 1HT. Please contact DCLC or the Chinese Elders Group should you require assistance in attending the luncheon club.
